Summer Work & Travel (SWT)

Summer Work Travel is a cultural exchange program established and regulated by the U.S. Department of State. It gives university students the opportunity to undertake paid temporary work in the United States during their summer vacation. Outside working hours, participants can also travel independently and experience everyday American life and culture.

Camp Counselor Program

Serve as a counselor at a U.S. summer camp, living, working, and connecting with local young people and the camp team.

U.S. Hospitality Internships and Training — Intern / Trainee Program (ITP)

Designed for students in hospitality management and related fields, as well as people with relevant professional experience, this program offers international practical learning opportunities focused on career development. Through planned placements and professional training in the day-to-day operations of U.S. hotels, participants can gain industry experience and develop professional skills and cross-cultural communication abilities.

Teaching Assistant Program

This education-focused pathway within ITP offers teaching assistant internships in U.S. public or private K–12 schools. Participants join local teaching teams and gain firsthand insight into American teaching approaches and school culture through classroom support and campus interaction.

U.S. Professional Internships

The most specialized ITP pathway and the one most closely connected to career opportunities in China, this option places participants in office-based roles at U.S. companies to gain practical experience aligned with their fields of study. It is a key option for developing professional skills and building international experience
